This document is the operative data protocol for Hyde Workshop. It defines what information enters the system, how it is processed, how long it is retained, and the rights you hold over it. Read it in full. If the terms conflict with your expectations, do not proceed.
SECTION_01

System Identification

Operator ........... Hyde Workshop
Domain ............. hydeworkshop.com
Contact ............ hydestudio8@gmail.com
Jurisdiction ....... Global — GDPR & CCPA standards applied universally
Classification ..... Independent AI Research & Analysis Platform

Hyde Workshop is an independent AI tools research and analysis platform. It publishes structured reviews, intelligence briefings, and operational assessments of artificial intelligence tools and platforms. No advertising network, affiliate scheme, or vendor arrangement influences the content published on this site.

SECTION_02

Data Intake — What Enters the System

Hyde Workshop collects the minimum data required to operate effectively. The following categories define exactly what enters the system and under what conditions.

[ 02.A — Voluntary Transmissions ]

Information you deliberately submit to the system:

  • Name and email address submitted via the contact form (LOG_SIGNATURE) or newsletter subscription
  • Message content submitted through the Consult The Forge consultation channel
  • Survey or feedback responses if voluntarily provided
  • Any additional information you include in a direct communication
[ 02.B — Derivative Data (Automatic Collection) ]

Information collected automatically when you access the site:

  • IP address and approximate geographic location (city / country level only)
  • Browser type, version, and operating system
  • Pages visited, time on page, and navigation path through the site
  • Referring URL — the page you arrived from before accessing Hyde Workshop
  • Session timestamps

This data is collected in aggregated, anonymised form for platform analysis. It is not used to build individual user profiles.

[ 02.C — Financial Data ]

Hyde Workshop does not currently process financial transactions. If paid services are introduced, all payment processing will be handled by a certified third-party processor. Hyde Workshop will never store card numbers, banking details, or financial credentials.

[ 02.D — Social Channel Data ]

If you interact with Hyde Workshop on X (formerly Twitter) or YouTube, those platforms collect data under their own protocols. Hyde Workshop may receive aggregated engagement data as provided by those platforms' standard analytics tools.

SECTION_03

Data Processing — How the System Uses It

Data collected by Hyde Workshop is processed for the following operational purposes only:

  • Operating and improving the platform — analysing usage patterns to serve operators more effectively
  • Responding to consultation submissions and contact form messages
  • Delivering newsletter correspondence to subscribers who have explicitly opted in
  • Diagnosing technical issues and resolving site functionality problems
  • Preventing fraudulent submissions and blocking automated abuse of the contact system
  • Complying with applicable legal obligations

Hyde Workshop does not sell your data. Hyde Workshop does not share your data with third-party marketing networks. Hyde Workshop does not use your data to build advertising profiles.

SECTION_04

Data Disclosure — When Information Exits the System

Your data is not traded, sold, or shared for commercial gain. Disclosure occurs only under the following specific conditions:

[ 04.A — Service Infrastructure ]

Hyde Workshop uses third-party infrastructure providers to operate the site — including GoDaddy (hosting), Site Mailer (email delivery), and Google Analytics via Site Kit. These providers process data on Hyde Workshop's behalf and are contractually obligated to protect it. They do not receive your data for their own commercial purposes.

[ 04.B — Legal Obligation ]

If Hyde Workshop receives a lawful order from a court or regulatory authority requiring disclosure, that order will be assessed and complied with to the minimum extent legally required. Hyde Workshop will not voluntarily provide user data to law enforcement without a valid legal instrument.

[ 04.C — Business Continuity ]

In the event of a structural change — merger, acquisition, or asset sale — user data may transfer to the successor entity. In that scenario, this protocol remains binding on the successor, or you will be notified and given the opportunity to request deletion before transfer.

[ 04.D — Your Explicit Consent ]

If you explicitly authorise a specific disclosure — for example, requesting that a consultation summary be shared with a named third party — that disclosure will be made in accordance with your stated instructions only.

SECTION_05

Tracking Technologies

[ 05.A — Cookies ]

Hyde Workshop uses cookies to maintain basic site functionality, remember preferences, and collect anonymous analytics. Cookies do not contain personally identifiable information. A full cookie declaration is available via the CookieYes consent panel. Analytics cookies are only activated after you provide explicit consent.

[ 05.B — Google Analytics ]

Hyde Workshop uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand aggregate site usage patterns. GA4 collects anonymised data on page views, session duration, geographic distribution, and device types. To opt out of Google Analytics tracking:

Opt-out tool: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
Google privacy policy: google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy/
[ 05.C — Do Not Track ]

Hyde Workshop does not currently process DNT browser signals as no standardised implementation exists across the industry. Manual opt-out mechanisms are available via the CookieYes consent panel at any time.

SECTION_06

Third-Party Nodes

Hyde Workshop contains outbound links to external sites — AI tool platforms, research sources, and reference material. Once you follow an outbound link, you have left the Hyde Workshop system. This protocol does not govern what those external sites do with your data.

Hyde Workshop does not control, endorse, or accept responsibility for the privacy practices of any linked third-party site. Before providing personal information to any external platform — including AI tools catalogued in the Directory Nexus, social platforms linked in the footer, or any embedded third-party service — review their privacy policy independently.

SECTION_07

Security Architecture

Hyde Workshop implements the following security measures to protect data in the system:

  • TLS encryption for all data in transit between your browser and the Hyde Workshop server
  • Secure SMTP protocols for all outbound email via Site Mailer
  • WordPress security hardening including login protection, firewall rules, and 2FA on admin accounts
  • Regular automated backups stored on encrypted remote storage
  • Structured plugin and theme update schedule to maintain patched, current infrastructure

No security architecture is unconditionally impenetrable. Hyde Workshop takes reasonable and proportionate measures but cannot guarantee absolute security against all possible attack vectors. Data transmitted over the internet carries inherent risk. You transmit information to Hyde Workshop on this understood basis.

SECTION_08

Minor Operators — Under Age 13

Hyde Workshop does not knowingly collect data from individuals under the age of 13. This platform is intended for adult operators with a professional or research interest in artificial intelligence.

If you believe a person under 13 has submitted personal data to Hyde Workshop, contact us immediately at hydestudio8@gmail.com and we will purge that data from the system without delay.

SECTION_09

SECTION_10

Protocol Versioning — Changes to This Document

Hyde Workshop reserves the right to update this protocol at any time to reflect changes in legal requirements, operational practices, or new site features. When material changes are made, the Effective Date at the top of this document will be updated.

Continued use of Hyde Workshop after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised protocol. Archived versions of this protocol are available on request. If you do not accept the current terms, discontinue use of the platform and submit a data deletion request.
